Sara Amini
Artistic Director
Sara is from Iran, and is now based in London. She studied BA Theatre Directing at Tehran University and MA Performance Making at Goldsmiths, University of London. She also trained with Teatr Pieśń Kozła (Song of the Goat) Theatre Company and Ariane Mnouchkine and Theatre du Soleil. She originally trained as a classical mezzo-soprano singer, also she has experience of folk and jazz singing. She is an actress, singer, director.
Charlotte Slater
General Manager & Co-Producer
Charlotte is from Sussex and is now based in London. After graduating in 2006 from the University of East Anglia she co-founded DrunkenMasks, a physical storytelling company.
She trained with Odin Teatret and Song of the Goat and recently graduated from MA Ensemble Theatre at Rose Bruford College. She has worked most recently with Shirin Madj in 'Rebirth' and The University of Kent. She is an actress, folk singer and practitioner.
Robin Paley Yorke
Marketing Manager & Co-Producer
Robin is from North East England and works in the North East and London. He trained on BA European Theatre Arts and MA Ensemble Theatre at Rose Bruford College and Creación at Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Murcia. During his MA he worked with Teatr Pieśń Kozła (Song of the Goat) Theatre Company. A performer, practitioner and theatre maker, he is also an Associate Artist of Invisible Flash, a sight-impaired artist led theatre company. He has recently facilitated workshops for Extant, The Orpheus Centre and performed nationally & internationally, including in Verity Standen's 'Refrain'.
He has guest lectured at Rose Bruford College, King's College London and The Northern School of Art.
Maryam Davari
Company Co-founder & Performer
Maryam is from Iran where she studied BA Acting at Tehran University. She studied under Hamid Samandarian, Farid Paya and since has worked and trained with Song of The Goat Theatre and Ariane Mnouchkine. She has had roles in several short films such as the BAFTA nominee, 'Only Sound Remains'. She has also made artistic videos and her passion for theatre, has lead her to interview leading practitioners, such as Odin Teatret.
Her recent role of Leila in the award-winning 2017 film, 'Undocument' saw her nominated for Best Actress Award at Bucharest Film Awards.
Cheryl Prince
Creative Engagement Manager & Performer
Cheryl is based in London. She studied acting at Mountview before continuing her training with Song of the Goat Theatre, which she combined with two years training at The Actors Temple. She is a performer trained in physical theatre and the Meisner Technique. Previously, she worked in the industry as a Casting Director.
Cheryl is an Associate Artist with The Actors Temple, collaborating as both a playwright & lead actress in her play, 'Awaken', which was runner-up for the Park Theatre's Script Accelerator programme.
Manuel Lavandera
Performer
Manuel studied BA (Hons.) Drama at Escuela de Teatro de La Plata, in his native Argentina. With the Accidental Theatre Group in Argentina, he performed 'Marat-Sade o The Revolution in a wheelchair', directed by Omar Sanchez. In 2002 he travelled to England and decided to settle down here with his family.
Recently Manuel devised and performed three solo shows with Britt Forsberg and Theatre21. He graduated in MA Ensemble Theatre at Rose Bruford College training with Teatr Piesn Kozla (Song of the Goat).

Inda Pereda
Performer & Devisor
Inda is an actor, clown and puppeteer from Catalonia. He is a postgraduate from London International School of Performing Arts, based on Jacques Lecoq's pedagogy. Inda also honed his craft with, Grzegorz Bral, Gabriel Gawin, Pere Sais, Philippe Gaulier and Angela de Castro.
He has recently been working with Clowns without Borders and Emergency Circus in refugee camps in Greece.
Inda worked with us from Feb - Sept 2016 as a performer & devisor. On our journey with Evros, he provided much support, beautiful moments of physical theatre and comedic relief.
Theofano Pitsillidou
Designer
Theofano is predominantly a film production designer, having worked on such films as 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', 'Les Miserbables', and BAFTA nominated 'Only Sound Remains' alongside company member Maryam Davari.
'Evros' was an exciting transition for Theofano to work within devised theatre.
